we’ll have some delightful volunteer kinksters to greet you at the door, check you in, affirm your volunteer positions, and give you any information you need ahead of the festivities.
5:00 pm - 5:45 pm: PoGM opener
a space for people of the global majority (PoGM, aka BIPOC) to come together and get to know each other in a low-key space.
5:00 pm - 5:45 pm: white caucus
join producer Miss Alex and staff Leo Sugar in a space for white folks to come together and discuss ways to make unabashed an actively anti-racist space.
6:00 pm - 6:45 pm: welcome and logistics
we’ll greet everyone + share how the weekend’s going to work.
6:45 pm - 7:00 pm: opener/ritual with Lee Harrington
the ritual is entirely optional; we will let everyone know before it begins. please take care of yourselves
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm: speed meeting for queers
this event is all about connecting with new people at unabashed! coming to an event with lots of strangers can be intimidating - whether you are looking for a play connection, someone to have a meal with, or just more friendly faces, this event is for you. participants will be paired up for a few quick minutes each, and then rotate so you will be able to meet and talk with as many other participants as possible. at the end, you will give and get messages from those you met.
about your hosts: For the past 15 years, Queer Invasion has brought together queers, dykes, bears, lesbians, nonbinary and trans folks from all over into kink and leather for play, connection, and community. Our tri-annual events on the east coast were put on hold due to COVID, and we hope to be back soon. In the meantime we have been bringing our speed meeting to leather events on the east coast. We are SO excited to be attending Unabashed this year, and look forward to meeting you all!

saturday october 11th

a space for people of the global majority (PoGM, aka BIPOC) to gather, engage in PoGM-specific unconference topics, and share in community.
9:00 am - 11:00 pm: registration
we’ll have some delightful volunteer kinksters to greet you at the door, check you in, affirm your volunteer positions, and give you any information you need ahead of the festivities.
10:00 am - 1:30 pm: resource fair
come check out and add to our room-sized board of community resources. A few local community resources will be in-person to share more about their services and facilitate community building and connection.
10:00 am - 1:45 pm: unconference
voting from the night before will kick us off. keep an eye on the board to offer ideas, vote on your favorites, and see when your interests are meeting in community
10:00 am - 2:00 pm: PoGM only unconference
within the PoGM only space dedicated all day- unconference will be happening during this time throughout the rest of the space, however we welcome PoGM folx to decide how they want to use the space! unconference format is not required. should those who the space is for desire, we can facilitate getting y’all going in the same format OR decide to do something else! the space is YOURS. (as in our PoGM friends reading) (also note: for this time block skill shares a-ok, but no play/scenes during this time as DMs are provided only during open dungeon hours that coincide with the rest of the space.)
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: community panel
on mutual aid and community building. panelists include: LoveWitch, Scout Hart, Styler Ells, and Q! read panel member bios here…
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm: community keynote- Badly Licked Bear
unfortunately Shanae (previously announced) can’t join us this year and hopes to make the next one. though we’re sad to miss out on Shanae, we are more than thrilled to have Badly Licked Bear! read her bio here.
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm: PoGM mixer w/mocktails
you wished (aka gave us feedback) we granted! PoGM folx loved their designated space in the past and also wanted MORE. enjoy more of each others’ company while sipping something yummy.
5:00 pm-1:00 am: play party featuring a designated PoGM only play space
new ideas mean fresh play. get some.
6:00 pm-1:00 am: low sensory/cuddle/aftercare space
opens just an hour later than the party starts this night while our PoGM friends enjoy their mixer.
sunday october 12th

the main space is open for play starting at 10 am. playing in the daylight could provide all new possibilities…Volunteer Daddy might even have pancakes waiting for all the littles.
10:00 am - 3:30 pm: PoGM only play space or unconference
this day the PoGM space will be open serving as either play space or unconference space, or whatever else is desired by those who it is for!
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: closing ceremonies
we’ll wrap some things up, raffle off some goodies, and then Lee Harrington will lead us in a ritual to help us transition from a weekend of kinky community into whatever comes next.
the final ritual is entirely optional; we will let everyone know before it begins. please take care of yourselves.
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm: post-con wind down
stave off con drop, and wind down in community. this is your last moment to grab those contacts from your new connections and enjoy all the hugs and cuddles you want (or don’t).
at 6:30 we will lovingly but firmly close the space down to everyone not on the closing volunteer shift.
