We’ve Heard You

Thank you to everyone who joined our we deserve MORE Pride Play Party. Celebrating queer joy, pleasure, and community with you was unforgettable, and yes, the next play party is already in the works.

We also want to share how we're responding to feedback from the 2025 Unconference and QTPoGM community survey. Thank you to everyone who took the time to tell us where we can grow.

Here's what we're committed to:

  • New team, continued experience. Our team is reorganizing while keeping Volunteer Daddy on staff to help guide future events.

  • Lunch is served! Future Unabashed cons will include lunch, alongside our dungeon grazing tables.

  • Stronger anti-racism work. Our White Caucus will be professionally facilitated, with POGM facilitators compensated when they participate.

  • More thoughtful programming. We'll conduct deeper vetting of opening ceremony performances to ensure they align with our values and community care.

  • POGM-only play spaces stay. Even if only one person uses the space, it's worth having.

  • Rebuilding partnerships. We're actively working toward future collaborations with Melanin Munch Colorado and remain committed to supporting POGM kinksters.

  • Discord will be back!

    • Opens at least 60 days before each event.

    • Includes dedicated channels for POGM4POGM, Circuit Tastings, Kinky Mutual Aid, and more.

    • Staff will actively monitor and engage before and during events.

  • Unconference is here to stay. While we will get back to a structured Conference with opportunities for educators to submit workshop proposals, future cons will include dedicated Unconference time, with community-voted topics organized through Discord ahead of the event.

  • Better accessibility. We'll do a much better job promoting scholarships and accessibility resources well before each event so more folks know they're available.

Trust is built over time, and this is one step in our ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and creating the best possible space for our queer kinky community.
